The ECC contracted with Ryan Harvey, Forester and Trail Builder, to install new water bars and rebuild the trail. Ryan and Seth are guiding the work, with Dick Fortin and Tom Rose driving gravel and road mix up the trail.
Stubby Heath and his crew prepared the way with heavy equipment earlier in the week, regrading, shoring and ditching the lower trail, which had become a running stream in the last rain storm.

We are excited to announce that Cheese Louise, a wonderful eatery and Food Truck Catering company located at 175 Kancamagus Highway in Conway, has organized a "Cheesin' for a Reason" collaboration with the ECC for the month of July. They are donating $5 from every Weekly Special Sandwich sold during July to the ECC to help rebuild the trial. They are also sending volunteers to help. Thanks to our local youth!

Thank you to the New Hampshire Charitable Foundation’s Pequawket Foundation Advised Fund for their generous grant donation of $2,500!
The Foundation began as a gift of Mrs. Helen Gibson, a generous community leader, along with that of her husband, Harvey Dow Gibson. In keeping with Mrs. Gibson's desire to forever maintain the striking beauty and sense of community connectedness of her adopted home, the Foundation, managed by the New Hampshire Charitable Foundation, funds local organizations whose work enhances the quality of life in the valley.
