Betty doesn't understand why her litter mates have been adopted but she has been left behind. Diagnosed with a heart defect called PDA, this 10 week old needs lifesaving surgery or she will not see her 1st bday.

UPDATE: Dear Donors, thanks to your generous donations we were able to consult with a cardiologist and pay for required tests (x-rays, echocardiogram, etc). Unfortunately, surgery at this time would prove fatal. Therefore, the fundraiser will be closed as we must wait until Betty is older and stronger to reassess the option of surgery. Meanwhile she has been prescribed beta blockers. We are heartbroken and deeply saddened. Betty deserves a special and loving home so if you are interested in fostering her please contact our rescue.
