This a message I would like share with you today! "She had everything. Off but her feeding tube and they are talking about taking that out today she has eaten ice chips and applesauce .. They had a therapy dog visiting kids so our nurse asked me if she wanted her to bring the dog in so she did and I woke Nikki up and when she woke up she started petting the dog and fell back asleep it was very sweet.. Nikki has been giving us things to smile about everyday.. Yawning, moving her arms and legs, and giving a nasty face to the nurse.. She is still very sedated but she's giving us so much hope!
