REI blindsided myself and over 400 others last week, eliminating our entire department without notice. They plan to sell off the used guiding gear- I am raising funds to purchase the gear and hire my affected co-guides.

REI has not yet released the inventory list for the guide gear sale. I hope to secure kayaks/kayak trailer, mountain bikes, and backpacking gear, as well as two transport vehicles. We hope to offer these guided trips as soon as this Spring! Your contribution is of $100 is an advance purchase of a guided trip to help ensure we are able to secure the gear as soon as it becomes available.
