#WeAreTheMajority Funds for Resisters

From Brittani Murray

This Fundly was set up to provide funds for organizers planning an action to support the black communities. Now, we have left it as an avenue to raise funds for Black orgs across the city! Spread the word!

Update #2

Thank you to everybody who has donated thus far! We are truly in awe of the outpouring of generosity and commitment to black centered causes. As we said on Saturday, the work didn't end with the close of our event. The work continues today, tomorrow, next week, and onward. It is our hope that allies are here today and will continue to be here each day. As part of continuing that work, we are going to maintain the fundly for current donations, so that further proceeds can go to black organizations around the city. We centered their agendas, and now it’s time to provide the resources they need to pursue them. Through your generosity, we were able to hold a large event in 72 hours, but the work doesn’t end there. Help us help black lead organizations do the work in their communities!

Update #1

Hello everyone! The event planning is well underway, and we are gearing up for a great day with everyone! The gathering is from 1-5 pm at Westinghouse Park. Please come out for the black community as different residents, and speakers, will be talking about forthcoming agenda's, as well as their stories. It is family friendly, and there will be food, music, med on site, and ASL. Please continue to like and share! We appreciate all your generosity and support!!
